While there's no clear hierarchy, there is a sort of understanding or perception that the director is the top job on a film set. So, naturally, it's no surprise that many actors find themselves drawn to the role. But why? Is it to live out a power fantasy? To get an under represented story told? Or is it the chance to direct the greatest talent of all: themselves? This week, we try to answer these questions and more.
