On February 11, 2023, 16-year-old Brianna Ghey, a vibrant teenager with a passion for TikTok, embarked on what seemed like a routine Saturday outing. She left her home to meet a friend, Scarlett Jenkinson, after receiving a text invitation to meet at the library. Despite her social anxiety, Brianna bravely boarded a bus alone, texting her mom along the way about her fears. Little did she know, this would be her final journey.
Within hours, Brianna's life was brutally cut short by Scarlett and her accomplice, Eddie Ratcliffe.
