We start with the heartbreak and devastation of the Texas floods—because when climate meets crisis and leadership fails to show up, you get communities underwater while officials are stuck on hold. And speaking of delays, we’ve got a closer look at FEMA’s molasses-in-January response, reportedly gummed up by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, whose qualifications seem limited to photo ops and bad decisions.

Then it’s time to play another round of “What Did Trump Say Now?” First, he’s threatening 50% tariffs on Brazil over what he calls the Bolsonaro ‘witch hunt’ trial—because nothing screams diplomacy like defending authoritarian bros. Next, we get copper tariffs (because sure, why not), and he manages to publicly praise the Liberian president’s “good English.” We would explain why that’s offensive, but y’all already know.

And in the Department of Deep State Drama, the FBI is now investigating former CIA Director John Brennan and FBI Director James Comey—because apparently, if you ever made Trump feel small in a press conference, you’re on the hit list.

He also threatened to take control of New York City and Washington, D.C., like he’s auditioning to be Gotham’s worst villain. And finally, Attorney General Pam Bondi has done a full magic trick: she now claims the Epstein files she promised to release... never existed. Girl, where’d they go?

We break it all down with fire, fury, and the kind of laughs you need to stay sane in this mess. Tune in to The Final Word, where the absurd gets unpacked and truth gets the last mic drop
