Sandra Cooper grew up in a traditional and Catholic household during the 60's and 70's in the USA. It was a time of tumult and change for the country. After 12 years of Catholic School, Sandra attended college obtaining a bachelor's degree in public health. Seven years later, Sandra returned to school and obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing, launching her career as an RN. She worked in various industries as a nurse, finally landing in hospice care. Working as an RN in hospice was a transformational experience that led her to graduate school, where she obtained a master's degree in counseling.
Sandra Cooper, RN, LPCMH, LLC is currently a Psychotherapist in private practice in Newark Delaware. She is the Author of "Trauma to Triumph, Lessons Learned Along the Way". This book describes the lessons Sandra learned while trying to navigate her life outside the boundaries defined by others and by her childhood experience. She has been sharing her hard-earned wisdom with clients and patients for over twenty years. She now shares it with us.
Sandra shares a journey from rejection and pain to love and belonging. She acknowledges that while many are familiar with rejection and pain, few find their way to love and belonging. Sandra has a passion for assisting others to find their way to the life they want. Her shared experiences could be the story for any of us.
