Hi everyone! In this Truth Bomb episode, I'm sharing something that breaks my heart - after 30 years of practice and assessing hundreds of kids, I've noticed a troubling pattern. So many children come into my office thinking they don't do anything right.

From ages 2 through college, kids are constantly comparing themselves to their peers. If they don't look or perform exactly like other children, they assume something's wrong with them. This negative self-image is holding our kids back in ways we might not even realize.

At Connect My Brain, we focus on creating a safe space where children can practice and develop without that harsh inner critic. Remember, development starts with movement - even in the womb! When we support our children's physical development, we're building the foundation for everything else.

If your child seems less enthusiastic than they should be, that's a red flag worth addressing.
