Juan Montes shares what Star Wars means to him! From his dad buying him the Original Trilogy on VHS to seeing The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones & The Revenge of the Sith in theaters and how that has cemented his love of film! We chat about his time in an Alaskan Dry Cabin and pretending it was Hoth, as a journalist, what Star Wars story he would be chasing, creating his own characters and writing fan fiction featuring Dash Rendar, being a JarJar Binks fan, the iconic Binary Sunset shot which Star Wars characters would be best and worst suited to be a showrunner, his three elements that make Star Wars Star Wars to him and of course his Five with the Force!
Hailing from the innovation-rich Silicon Valley, Juan has developed a unique combination of entrepreneurial spirit and technical expertise. His adventurous nature took him to Alaska where he honed his photography skills and built his sourdough credentials while living in a dry cabin. Juan's an Emmy Nominated news producer in Seattle, where he brings captivating stories to life.
