Meal prep is linked to better dietary habits. Feeling good about what you eat and using food as the fuel to keep your body in tip-top condition can be made into a simple science that allows you convenience, money savings, and healthier choices! Fortunately, once you get into the “simplicity” mindset – planning, shopping, preparing, and making sure the right ingredients are close at hand – is easy! Even if you are intimidated by cooking there are tons of sneaky tricks that can help make assembling delicious meals and snacks a cinch. Here we will be going over some simple meal prep and planning ideas. These will specifically aim to help you in getting the right number of meals that include lean proteins, fresh/frozen veggies / fruits, and complex carbs/grains that will help you with having healthy choices readily available! (Included are several BONUS’S: Recipes, Shopping Guides, and a Healthy Food Swap Guide!)

BIO: Brenda Hoehn, MSN, BSN, RN, CHTP - Brenda is a bariatric nurse and has worked with thousands of bariatric surgery patients pre- and post-op. She has certifications in both life-coaching and in a holistic practice called Healing Touch. She currently works in the bariatric vitamin industry where she offers bariatric LIVE topics weekly & Support Groups for patients and facilities. She intertwines all this including her own incredible bariatric surgery journey – VSG in 2013.
