Michael McAfee discusses the "quiet quitting" or "slow quit" with some Christian leaders. They start off with a God-passionate, but then after a while the passion seems to wane or the process of pastoring becomes a burden. Some walk away from God completely and some begin to lack in their prayer time and the study of God’s Word. Some only go to church when they have too. Discouragement, fear, offense, exhaustion, depression can all be reasons. But truthfully, the enemy is at work to destroy all pastors and Christian leaders.
