In this episode, I’m joined by James Hughes—a thoughtful, grounded parent & trauma-focused professional who's rewriting the story of what it means to show up with intention, presence, and curiosity.

We explore:

  • How the way we were parented shapes how we react under stress

  • What it looks like to pause and parent with awareness instead of autopilot

  • The unlearning that’s required to parent differently—without shame

  • Why presence and reflection are more powerful than perfection

This conversation is full of honesty, humility, and real-life reflections that any parent can relate to—especially those doing the deep work of breaking old cycles.

🎧 Tune in to hear from a dad walking the walk and reflecting on what it really means to parent consciously.
