'This past Saturday, April 26th., as the Lapu Lapu Day festival wound down (an event meant to honour Filipino Heritage and the spirit of unity) tragedy struck when a black SUV, driven by a man now charged with multiple counts of murder plowed into a crowd of festival-goers, leaving 11 dead and dozens more injured, including children as young as five.'
