I am looking for roadside attractions in Tallahassee, FL today and I found this chainsaw art sculpture from a dead tree right outside of the local library. Chainsaw sculptor John Birch took a dead tree and turned it into art featuring people enjoying a dead tree, which can be found at the LeRoy Collins Public Library. Completed on July 4, 2016, the carving of the dead oak tree took nearly five months. Birch carved a girl who had built a tree fort, a boy leaning back and reading a book, and a Dad peeking out of the tree’s hollow innards.
