In this episode of The Magical Mindset Podcast with Cliff Sewell I am joined by Speaker, Coach and Author, Damian McGrath.
Growing up in Bradford Damian discusses how his love for sport, especially rugby was the start of his coaching career.
As a coach, Damien goes on to mention how he worked across four continents and two rugby codes — Rugby League and Rugby Union at the highest levels. The key here being here to take the time to get to know them, understand them which has enabled him to drive performance under pressure.
We talk about Mens Mental Health and how Damien managed himself in his successful career being front and centre- His’ Mental Highlight Wheel’’ always puts a smile on his face.
‘’I’ve always managed to compartmentalise my life. Negative things don’t bring the rest of my life down’’
We end with Damian discussing how the lessons he has learnt in life he now brings to leadership, guiding teams and individuals to communicate with the kind of precision that moves people.
