Taylor Collins went from a hardcore vegetarian endurance athlete to an advocate for regenerative meat—and it changed his life. In this episode, Joe Carr sits down with Taylor to talk about his journey founding meat businesses EPIC Provisions, Roam Ranch and Force of Nature. Taylor shares the personal health struggles that forced him and his wife to pivot from plant-based living to embracing animal-based nutrition, emphasizing the profound connection between food, the environment, and human health.

They also dive into the realities of fatherhood, from navigating pregnancy and birth experiences to the delicate balance of control and surrender in parenting. Taylor opens up about raising daughters to be strong and independent, the importance of teaching kids about life and death, and how parenting mirrors the principles of land stewardship. If you're curious about regenerative agriculture, postpartum nutrition, and how fitness integrates into family life, this episode is packed with insights.

In this episode, we discuss:
  • Why did Taylor transition from vegetarianism to eating meat?

  • What is regenerative agriculture, and how does it impact health and the environment?

  • How should parents introduce meat and organ meats to babies?

  • What role does postpartum nutrition play in recovery and long-term health?

  • What does it mean to be a ‘Girl Dad’ and raise strong, independent daughters?

Being dadicated isn’t about having all the answers.

It’s about showing up.

It’s about committing to the kind of dad—and man—you want to be, even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.

Joe Carr is a dad to Della, husband to Serenity, co-founder of Serenity Kids baby food, and the voice behind Dadicated Joe.
