The Red Sox (40-41) lost their 4th in a row and were walked off on the road for the 8th time this season with a 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Angels Tuesday night at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA. Christian Moore hit a game-winning 2-run Home Run in the Bottom of the 10th Inning off of losing pitcher Justin Wilson. The Red Sox are 3-5 on their current trip that wraps up Wednesday.

Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet tossed 7 scoreless innings in his start against the Angels Tuesday night. He left with a 1-0 lead, but ended up with a no-decision after Greg Weissert gave up a solo Home Run to Christian Moore in the Bottom of the 8th. The Sox ace allowed 3 hits, walked 3 and struck out 10. He left 2 runners stranded in his final inning of the night. It's his 3rd scoreless outing this season and the 11th time allowing 0 or 1 run in a start. Crochet struck out 10 in his outing and it's the 4th time this season where he's stuck out 10 or more.

Sox at the Dish: The Red Sox had the leadoff man reach 3 times over the 1st 9 Innings. The Red Sox got a leadoff Double from Jarren Duran in the 7th but Hunter Strickland retired the next 3 hitters to stand Duran at 2nd. The Red Sox had 1st & 2nd with 1 out in the 9th but Kenley Jansen retired Trevor Story and Ceddanne Rafaela to get out of trouble. Red Sox 2-3-4 Hitters- Roman Anthony, Romy Gonzalez & Carlos Narvaez combined to go 0-for-13 with 5 strikeouts.

Who's On 2nd: Marcelo Mayer started his 1st career game in the Big Leagues at 2nd-Base Tuesday night. Mayer entered the game with 2 hits over his previous 29 at-bats. He led off the 3rd Inning with a Triple and scored the game's 1st run on a sacrifice fly from Nate Eaton. Mayer had a 2-out Single in the 5th but was left stranded. He collected his 3rd hit of the night with an RBI-Single to put the Red Sox up, 2-1, in the 10th.
