The Red Sox (41-43) put an end to their season-high 6-game losing streak by thumping the Blue Jays 15-1 Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park. The series is even a 1-1 with the finale on Sunday afternoon. The Red Sox hit 3 Home Runs in the win and put 3 Runs across in each of the 1st 3 Innings and 3 more in the 6th Inning. The Red Sox had 8 different hitters with multi-hit games. ATTENDANCE: 34,927.

After a Carlos Narvaez Single, Wilyer Abreu hit a 3-run Home Run to get the Sox on the board 1st. It's Abreu's 14th of the season and 1st in the month of June. Roman Anthony collected his 1st multi-hit game in the Big Leagues and ended up with 3 Hits and 2 Doubles. Toro reached 4 times in the win with 2 hits and 2 walks. Trevor Story collected 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Ceddanne Rafaela hit a 2-run homer in the 6th. It was his 9th of the season and 100th in Game #84 for the club. Romy Gonzalez capped his 3-hit game with a 2-run Home Run in the 7th.

He retired the side in order on 11 pitches in the 8th. He walked 2 in the 9th but left both runners stranded by getting the final 2 outs of the game. Murphy was activated from the IL prior to Saturday's game and Luis Guerrero was placed on the IL with a right elbow strain.
