The Red Sox (40-38) fell short in their comeback bid and lost, 3-2, to Giants Saturday afternoon at Oracle Park in San Francisco. Romy Gonzalez was retired on a groundout and the Sox left the potential tying run at 3rd when the game ended. The Giants hit 2 Home Runs in the win including a 2-run Home Run from Rafael Devers in the 3rd Inning. It was Devers 1st with the Giants. Time of Game: 2:09

Sox at the Dish: The Sox managed only 6 hits in Saturday's Loss with 3 of the hits coming in the 9th Inning. Trevor Story had 3 hits, all singles. Jarren Duran and Abraham Toro both went 0-for-4 as the 1-2 hitters in the Sox lineup. The Red Sox had the leadoff man reached twice over 9 innings.

Belllo gave up Home Runs to Heliot Ramos and Rafael Devers, and both came with 2 outs. Bello gave up 3 runs (1 ER) over 6 Innings and he departed with the Sox trailing 3-0.
