The Tampa Bay Rays win again, beating the Red Sox 10-8. The Rays offense helped take a lead early. It started in the 4th with a Jake Mangum RBI single. The Rays would add two more in the 5th to make it 3-0. The Red Sox would respond with 1 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th to tie the game. Then Josh Lowe laced a RBI double in part of a 3 run 6th to give the Rays the lead. The Rays had trouble holding on to the lead. They would give up that 3 run lead with help by a 2 run 9th inning to send the game into extra innings. The Rays would blow another lead in the 10th inning on a Jonathan Aranda error. But the offense would put up 2 in the 11th and that would finally be enough of a lead to hold off the Red Sox. The Rays will look for a series win tomorrow night.
