The Tampa Bay Rays lose to the Red Sox 4-3. The Rays never led in this game. Starter Zack Littell gave up 4 solo home runs that made up all 4 of the Red Sox runs. The Rays would tie the game at 3-3 in the 5th inning with a Yandy Diaz 2 run home run. But the Red Sox would immediately take the lead in the bottom of the inning with another home run. The Rays would have bases loaded with two outs in the 8th inning but could not come through. They would finish just 1/8 with RISP. The Rays will head to New York to take on the Mets starting Friday.
