Golden and DSQ take a trip down memory lane, reflecting on the selection program and the moments that pushed them to their limits. DSQ breaks down what really goes on behind the scenes, from the brutal physical tests to the psychological battles that separate those who make it from those who don’t. About Jovon Quarles:

Jovon is now a retired Navy SEAL whose life and journey serve as an inspiring testament to resilience, determination, and triumph over adversity. Born and raised between Washington DC and North Carolina, Jovon overcame significant challenges in his upbringing to emerge as a symbol of unwavering strength and achievement. Raised by his grandparents due to his mother's struggles with substance abuse and without knowing his father, Jovon witnessed firsthand the harsh realities of violence in the NE side of DC during his formative years. However, driven by an innate hunger for more in life, he relocated with his grandmother to North Carolina to get away from the city life and discovered a passion for athletics that would lay the foundation for his future success. Poor, desperate and even became a teenage parent I was up against a cycle in history where becoming a statistic was easier than creating a life of abundance I still pushed forward. Determined to create a different life for his children.
