Hispanic Heritage Month is underway, with community celebrations of Latin culture, people and traditions through Oct. 15. But, educational opportunities remain harder to obtain for many Latino residents. What can be done to increase equality?
Dr. Jafeth Sanchez is an associate professor of educational leadership at the University of Nevada, Reno and the director of the Latino Research Center. She recently chatted with the Sierra Nevada Ally’s Noah Glick to talk about this issue.
