J. Robert Spencer created the role of Nick Massi in La Jolla and on Broadway.
Miles Aubrey originated the role of Norm Waxman on the first national tour where he also covered Bob Gaudio, and then went on to play Norm Waxman and covered Gyp DeCarlo and Nick Massi on Broadway.
