This was a conversation I had with one of my year 12 physics students about their idea to measure variables such as muscular force of contraction, vertical jump height and speed. This originally came about from a look at satellite launches and the independence from mass with exit velocity being solved as the square root of 2gh where h is the orbital altitude.
