Build confidence in fundamental vocal technique, how to sing riffs & runs, & more at the free Sing Confidently Masterclass HERE!

Hi Singers! Today, I'm sharing why you should explore riffing and creating vocal runs even as a musical theatre singer. Why?

Because pop/rock influence is very prevalent in musical theatre these days, and riffs are popping up all over the place!

Technically, singers have been adding ornamentation to songs for forever, but we're hearing pop-esque riffs in musical theatre vocals a lot as well.

Does that mean you need to be the BEST at making up your own riffs? Absolutely not, but I'll share what you do need to focus on developing in order to feel confident singing riffs as a musical theatre performer. Listen in!

(p.s., I also share why musical theatre singing has been SO important to me and I share my own little musical theatre update - it's a little ramble-y at the beginning but we get into the topic at hand :).
