Today we discussed the dilemmas that Pro Se Litigants face in the family courtrooms where accountability is overlooked and children are handed over to the abuser. We also discussed that there is a pattern to this and a case that is not a "one off."
A mother that hasn't seen her children in 10 months for no reason and has evidence of the abuse, while the abuser has issues himself, shows clearly that the mother should be given full custody. This case is clear cut however, Judge Chad Gulstrom thinks otherwise. Perjury and contempt have now added to the "Wild West," of the family court system.There will be an update on this case.
We also discussed the Decker Case that made the news and was referenced in the article, ABC News: "Father who killed 3 daughters was 'active dad' but the 'system failed' him, ex-wife's attorney says," written by Megan Forrester.
