Doesn't make sense, but that's only because people who have these behaviors, I did not understand. CORRECTION : you do understand once you see it from their perspective.
First to answer is, "I can't believe you downloaded What'sApp! I've been asking you to do that for years when you travel. When you couldn't email since you were deep in the Costa Rica jungle & spent 10 hours to find a computer to send an email to say 'safe,' I was certain you'd download it then. What happened?"
