They swap stories of unplayable stand-up charity gigs, Sam reveals how he relied on eating out of dumpsters during his early days as a struggling artist, and shares some words of wisdom on how to balance life as a touring comic with taking care of yourself and your relationships. Plus, he discusses the origins and process behind his acclaimed novel "Running the Light", reveals which current Hollywood darling may be in place to play his protagnist Billy-Ray, and why he's developed such an affinity for Glasgow crowds.
