Hey, folks! Someone Just Like You will be back with a new episode in just a few short weeks, but today on the feed we’re thrilled to be sharing a story from the Audio Fiction series The Godfrey Audio Guide.

The Godfrey Audio Guide blends horror, sci-fi, and art history (both real and imagined) in the guise of a museum audio tour for the fictional Annabelle H. Godfrey Historic Estate & Museum, which is one part fine art museum, one part Winchester Mystery House.

Listeners on the tour discover art both real and imagined, experience an array of strange encounters, and gain insights into the life of the Estate’s enigmatic, eponymous founder. Just remember: stay out of the shadows and do not touch the art. This is for your own safety.

This show is perfect for fans of The Twilight Zone, Welcome to Night Vale, and The Midnight Gospel.

I’ve been a longtime listener of The Godfrey Audio Guide and have been consistently blown away by the production since its premiere a few years ago. It’s the perfect blend of horror and art history.

In this episode, the ‘listener’ begins their self-guided audio tour of the Annabelle H. Godfrey Historic Estate & Museum. It starts with the tour guide providing some key ground rules about the Estate. Then the patron discovers an alternate version of The Abduction of Europa by Jean-Francois de Troy, information about the Estate’s gift shop, and a mysterious installation titled Green Woman Emerges from Mid-Century Modern Wall.
