🎯 Model Dialogue 1: Crackly Line

[Two colleagues trying to confirm meeting details by phone]

Caller: "Hi, it’s Priya – just checking if we’re still on for this afternoon…"

Receiver: "Hi Priya. Sorry, you’re breaking up a bit. Could you say that again?"

Caller: "I just wanted to confirm our meeting at 2:30."

Receiver: "Ah, yes – 2:30. Got it. Are we still meeting at the office?"

Caller: "Sorry, could you repeat that? The signal’s a bit patchy."

Receiver: "No problem – I asked if we’re still meeting at the office."

Caller: "Yes, same place as before. Thanks!"

Receiver: "Perfect – see you then!"

🎯 Model Dialogue 2: Noisy Background

[Client calling from a train station – receptionist struggles to hear clearly]

Caller: "Hi, I’m just calling to check what time my appointment is tomorrow?"

Receptionist: "Of course – sorry, it’s a bit difficult to hear. Are you on speaker?"

Caller: "Yes, I’m at Paddington – it’s a bit noisy!"

Receptionist: "No worries! Could you just confirm your name again?"

Caller: "It’s Meera Shah – M-E-E-R-A."

Receptionist: "Thanks. Yes – you’re booked in at 11:15 with Dr Thomas."

Caller: "Brilliant. See you then!"

Receptionist: "Looking forward to it – and good luck getting out of Paddington!"

Caller: "Thanks – I’ll need it!"

Receptionist: "Bye for now!"

Caller: "Bye!"
