Today I’m answering the question, “how do I train out the excessive umms and ahhs and other unnecessary fillers that take away the conviction and strength in the message”

Well, I don’t think you need to get rid of all your umms and ahhs … they’re part of an authentic and real connection. But, if they’re undermining the impact of your message, there are some simple things you can do to remove them.

Listen in to hear:

  • When filler words can undermine the strength of your message, and when they’re ok

  • How to identify why you use filler words

  • The different approaches to minimising them, depending on why you use them

  • Why you might want to keep your umms and ahhs, and instead use other tactics to be impactful

  • Different ways to replace your umms and ahhs, or deliver your message differently so you don’t use them anyway
