In this episode we are going to look at the footwear; standing our ground, mobility and the gospel of peace. As it says in Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. When we have peace with God we can stand and face anything. The shoes/boots allowed the soldier mobility so they could move in the heat of the battle. When Paul says stand, he doesn’t mean stand still he means stand so you may be able to move and fight the enemy. We will look at Ehp 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation (readiness) of the gospel of peace; Ready to fight for what we know is true, Ready for His kingdom to be advanced, Readiness implies that when we wait on the Lord we wait ACTIVELY and not PASSIVELY, Ready to share the truth with anyone God puts in our paths, Ready to flee something or someplace that shouldn’t be, Assume the ready stance.
