Gallagher’s Pitching Gem Leads South Bend Cubs to 5–0 Shutout Over TinCaps

It was a picture-perfect day at Four Winds Field, and the South Bend Cubs made sure the fans went home happy with a commanding 5–0 victory over the Fort Wayne TinCaps. Behind dominant pitching, timely hitting, and crisp defense, South Bend improved their standing with one of their most complete performances of the season.

The story of the day was Ryan Gallagher, who delivered a masterclass on the mound. The right-hander pitched six innings of no-hit baseball, racking up eight strikeouts while walking just one. Gallagher was in total control from the first pitch, keeping TinCaps hitters off balance with a mix of fastballs, breaking balls, and pinpoint command.
