I had the pleasure of sitting down with Akin Sawyer, a long-time Decred advocate and investor in the digital asset space. I ask Akin about his path to Decred, and what was his "ahha" moment. We then discuss Akin's thinking in the space. How he sees the space evolving and Decreds positioning within the larger crypto ecosystem. Akin and I are both believers in an interoperable future, and we discuss how Akin thinks Decred can and ought to position itself, by attracting developers to integrate with emerging DeFi projects.
This was one of the most intellectually stimulating discussions I've had with a community member in a while. Akin and I are both big believers in Decreds potential. Although Akin offers a critique, it is important that as a community we listen to everyone's thoughts and come to a conclusion on your own.
