Health is a state of complete physical mental, emotional and social wellbeing and not merely absence of disease or infirmity

When Covid it I was already overweight and during Covid it became worse. It was eat and sleep and that became my routine. I added more weight. I was not fit and I didn’t like how I looked so I looked for exercising regiments I could access. Tried running I could not keep and not consistent. So, some friends invited me cycling I instantly joined up it wasn’t a mountain anymore to work up in the morning and exercise. It is important more than ever to exercise and stay in shape to improve mental and physical health against stress and physical sickness

I am no health expect but it feels dame good to be of good health, you don’t want to activate exercising and taking care on oneself when you get sick. Being Sick is expensive so you better shape up.

Spiritual Wellness
Spiritual strength is that force that drives us to make sacrifices for others, our nation, and the greater good. It may come from religious faith, heritage, experience within our community, influence of role models, or other sources of inspiration.
- Do you set aside time in your day for prayer, meditation, or personal time?
- Do you set aside time in your day for relaxation/quiet time

Emotional Wellness
Emotional wellness refers to building an awareness of and accepting one's feelings and moods. It includes finding ways to encourage positive thinking and acceptance of oneself.
- Are you able to make decisions/complete activities with minimum stress/worry?
- Is there something you are looking forward to?
Physical Wellness
Physical wellness includes expanding your knowledge about your lifestyle and how food, good nutrition and physical activity can be an integral part of your lifestyle.
- Do you participate regularly (min 3X/week) in an aerobic activity?
- Do you get adequate and satisfying sleep, and wake up refreshed?
- Do you need to work on issues related to tobacco, alcohol, or nutrition?
Social Wellness
Social wellness entails being cognizant of the impact you and your actions have on your community, the society and nature.
- Do you set aside and plan time to be with your family and friends?
- Do you feel that your relationships are positive and rewarding?
- Are you involved in group activities or hobbies?

Tip to stay in good health

1. A good night sleep

2. Meditation

3. Social interaction with family and friends regularly

4. Measure and watch your weight

5. Limit unhealthy food and eat healthy meals

a. Eat your vegs and fruits

6. Drink water and stay hydrated and limit sugared beverages

a. Do your 2 litres of water daily

7. Exercise Regularly and be physically active

8. Reduce sitting and screen time

9. Take walks in nature and breaks from work to relax

10. Emotional Management – enjoy de-stressing activities

11. Quit bad habits

12. Use apps to keep track of your exercises, measure heart rate

13. Have fun with life
