What does it really mean to show up for someone?
Is it being kind? No, because being kind is so fraught with what we think being kind is, which might not be what the other person has in mind at all. Is it giving them our opinion? Not really, because our opinions change all the time. Is it doing what they want? No, because doing what they want is then caught up in people pleasing and trying to get their love or their affection through manipulation.
