Today I’m speaking with Dr. Carl Johan Calleman. He has a PHD in physical Biology, experience as a senior researcher, and is a published scientific author from the UW.
I became interested in his writings about calendar systems, which came from my fascination with how humans perceive time, particularly folks who’ve been effecting by existential crises, PTSD, and trauma. For nearly 40 years, Dr. Calleman has been exploring how the Mayan calendar system correlates with consciousness shifts and biological evolution.

Dr. Calleman is known for his theory that the Mayan calendar reflects the evolution of the global mind. He has dedicated his life to identifying the underlying evolutionary processes that govern human history and our individual lives, using the Mayan calendar as an inroad to some of the most fundamental problems of human existence.

He is the author of several books, including: “the global mind and the rise of civilization”, and his most recent book, “the 9 waves of creation: Quantum physics, holographic evolution, and the destiny of Humanity”.
