In this latest episode Steve talks to London music band beachtown. He chats to band members Zaine Masoliver and Fred Cowan. The band weave together an eclectic tapestry of influences from Radiohead to Gorillaz. They discuss the stories behind some of their songs, the recording process and future plans. We also get to listen to some of their songs including their new single Bright Face.

Steve Sahl-Taylor has nearly 40 years experience as a musician, singer and songwriter. He started singing in bands in South Wales when he was 16 before taking long term residencies in Spain and Croatia. On returning to the UK he moved to Devon in South West England. Here he started writing songs for his first album. The album Hello World was signed to US label ACM Records and was released in 2006.
He continued touring throughout Europe with 12 tours to Scandinavia and many gigs in London and South East England.
He still writes songs, does the occasional gig and is a music teacher. He is based in London.
