For those who want the breakdown, here's the pool we came up with:
Each player gets 3 packs of 13.
Total card pool is:
Pool contents: (312)
Stats (101)
18, 17, 16 - 1x for each stat +1x wildcard for each value (21 cards)
15,14 - 2x for each stat + 2x wildcard for each value (28 cards)
13 - 2x for each stat + 4x wildcard (16 cards)

7+1d6 - 18x wildcard (18 cards)

6+1d4 - 18x wildcard (18 cards)
Classes (96)

7 subclasses for each of the base classes Except Artificer (84)

12 x Wildcard - 1 for each class (12)
Backgrounds (35)
35 assorted backgrounds

Races (42)
42 assorted Races with sub-race specified. Can duplicate some.

Bonus Feat (4)
4x Bonus Feat card

Spells (8)
1x +1 spell to spell list for each of the schools of magic.

Magic Items (4)
4x uncommon magic items - specify which item on the card.

Extra Gold (6)
4x 2x starting gold

2x 3x starting gold
Hit Die (16)

4x Max Roll on hit die
12x Average Roll on hit die
Randomize and sort into facedown packs of 13. Each player gets 3 packs.
Arrange the parties in alternating seats, then have everyone open their first pack. Each player selects 1 card and sets it aside facedown, then passes the remaining contents to the left. This continues until the pack is exhausted.
Then repeat the process for pack 2 , passing to the right this time.
For the third pack pass to the left a final time.
Players should not announce their picks or what they're trying to build.
