  • What do you want to be known for? This is your reputation.
  • Your reputation and your organization’s WILL BECOME ONE.

Three Buckets:

1. Know exactly who you are. “This is what I believe.”

2. Figure out what the organization needs. “WIN = What’s Important Now.”

3. Create a culture of execution. “People on our team do things like this.”

c. Things I expect from the People on our team.

b. What does the senior leadership want?

c. What is getting in the way? “The Environment always Wins”

3. Create a culture of execution. “People on our team do things like this.”

a. Disciplines of execution “What we do is who we are”

  • Goals
  • Actions
  • Scoreboard
  • Accountability

b. Battle Rhythm – How we operate day to day.

c. 80% of our results come from 20% of the things we do. Do what matters most.

Key Documents: Command Group Efficacy, Battle Rhythm, CDR’s Intent for execution, 8 Month Sketch, Ideal Day.

Executive Level Leadership

o You can’t do this alone - Build a board of trusted advisors.

o Clarity is King - Why you do it, who it’s for.

o Execution is discipline – 1% better every day, habits, routines,#NoDaysOff

o Everything starts with you. You demonstrate what you want.
