Poppa’s House is a true family affair: Through the sitcom’s first 16 episodes, a total of nine different members of the Wayans family have had writing or directing credits. Not to mention the fact, of course, that the show’s two leads are the father/son team of Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. Getting to do a show with his son is something the elder Wayans has been hoping to do for a long time. Now that it’s actually happening, Wayans says he’s feeling the same kind of pride LeBron James felt when he got to take the court earlier this season alongside his son.
