Legendary Cleveland sportswriter and Media personality Danny Coughlin died over the weekend at the age of 86. He has been considered by many to be one of the greatest storytellers the city of Cleveland has ever had. He had a distinguished career as a sports writer with the Cleveland Plain Dealer, and then in the early 80s branched out and became one of Cleveland‘s most popular TV personalities at WJW. I have been his colleague for 44 years. And still as recent as last Friday night was on the set with him on our popular high school football show , Friday Night Touchdown. This episode will also contain a podcast episode we had in 2019 and he talks about how the JFK assassination altered his career path. Also Browns legend Doug Dieken sat down with me on Sunday for a few stories about Dan Coughlin. Thanks for listening !
