Tom Hamilton is the radio play-by-play voice of the Cleveland Guardians. Hamilton, a 2022 Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame inductee was recently named as the Ford C Frick award winner by MLB. He will join the 2025 class in Cooperstown. Hamilton , out of Waterloo, Wisconsin has broadcast college basketball and football and minor league baseball. In this episode we talk about his career, about the late great Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Uecker ,and how the Guardians have been able to be such a good franchise in a sport where all the teams aren’t playing on a level playing field financially.
