TENNIS WEEKLY CROWDFUND: https://www.gofundme.com/f/tennis-weekly Tennis Weekly 2025 Crowdfund is now open! Your support keeps us going no matter how large or small is hugely appreciated, from listening to donating we couldn’t be more thankful to our audience!

The top seeds are in trouble at the AO 2025 as Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic lose sets on their way to round 3. One player who won’t be joining them is Daniil Medvedev. Last years finalist went out in a 5th set tiebreak to ATP Next Gen newcomer, Learner Tien in an epic ending after 2am Melbourne time.

As the men’s seeds struggle Carlos Alcaraz and Sascha Zverev keep getting better and Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka continue to make smooth progress.

Elsewhere the Brits are still on a charge, led by the heroic efforts of Jack Draper and former US Open Champion Emma Raducanu. Raducanu beat friend Amanda Anisimova in a tight contest earlier in the day whilst Jack Draper came back from the brink to win in 5 sets against Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Danielle Collins caused a stir when she invited the crowd to ‘kiss her a**’ after downing local favourite Destanee Aiava in three sets to progress to the third round. Lifting Aussie spirits, Alex de Minaur ‘the demon’ was sharp and quick to seal another trip towards a deep run at the Happy Slam!
