This week we go back in time with North Melbourne premiership player Corey McKernan. Corey reminisces about his career, reflects on some of special moments during his time in the game.
Corey commenced his AFL career with North Melbourne in the 1993 season and fast become one of best big man in competition. Corey spent 11 seasons at the Kangaroos, playing 196 games including the 1996 and 1999 premiership teams. He also had a two-season stint at Carlton, playing 41 games across the 2002 and 2003 seasons.
In this chat, Corey talks about football not being his number one sport growing up, his immediate rise to stardom at the Kangaroos, the missed Brownlow opportunity, and the premiership wins.
