When it comes to overlanding, your rig and sleep setup can make or break your adventure. In this video, we’re breaking down my last three overlanding builds and over 10 different sleep setups, from soft shell rooftop tents to ground tents, hammocks to wedge style roof top tents.

I'll walk you through the pros and cons of all these setups and what made me switch or upgrade at various points. My hope is that the info will be helpful if you're in the process of building an overlanding vehicle or deciding on how to get into camping and overlanding!

✅ What You’ll Learn:

🔹 The pros & cons of each overlanding build I've done

🔹 Real-world experiences with different setups and reasons why each may or may not work for you and your goals

🔹 Key factors to consider when choosing YOUR perfect setup

Whether you're just starting out or looking to upgrade, this guide will help you make the right choice for comfort, convenience, and your situation (which can change many of these factors).

If you're interested in any of the roof top tents I mentioned, here are links to them (they don't seem to make the Offgrid Raptor tent or my Rugged Bound anymore):
