ASBL 21 – June 2, 2025, Tori Branum, 2026 Candidate

Tori Branum is running as a Republican for Congress in the 12th District in Georgia. We discussed her reasons for running and the problems that the American Small Business League is trying to solve.

Tori did two enlistments in the Marines, got married, is raising children, and is a successful small business owner. She has trained 13,000 women in her community and around the country in the use of firearms. She has a passion for community engagement and assistance.

“This commitment has driven me to understand the pressing issues facing our nation firsthand, including multiple trips to the border, and has solidified my belief that as a God-fearing Christian and patriotic woman, the United States needs individuals with integrity and a willingness to listen.”

“I draw from personal experience, navigating the frustrations of the VA system. I’m committed to overhauling community care to ensure swift, dependable access for veterans—no one should endure the challenges I faced.”

“I will stand firm against sanctuary cities and illegal immigration while recognizing the vital role of farmers in our national security, advocating for improved mental health support for those under immense pressure.”

At the American Small Business League, we believe the winning issue in 2026 will be the fact that women are 50% of the population and own 42% of all businesses – but firms owned by men have received over 95% of all federal contracts for decades. Giving women 25% of federal small business contracts (not 5%) would create a 100% increase in net new jobs and prompt a dramatic economic boom – for free, requiring no new taxes or spending. In other words, deficit neutral.

Elections are won and lost by 1% to 2% of the vote. Appealing to women and fair-minded voters with a common-sense way to significantly boost the small business economy is a winning campaign strategy.

99.9% of all US firms are small businesses. The only way to make America great is to help small businesses thrive.

Every year, hundreds of billions of dollars in federal contracts are supposed to go to small businesses. They go to big businesses instead, and the SBA falsely claims that small businesses got the contracts. This deprives the nation of the two million jobs that small businesses would create annually if they got the contracts they are supposed to. (Big businesses don’t create jobs for those contracts because they are already big.)

We thank Tori Branum for joining us to discuss her candidacy and these important issues.

The American Small Business League is the strongest voice in America protecting the federal programs that assist the nation’s 34.7 million small businesses. Winning over 100 Freedom of Information legal battles has exposed rampant fraud in federal small business programs. In the national media and federal courts, the ASBL has had a larger presence than all other organizations that claim to represent the interest of small businesses combined. Learn more at ASBL.com.
