Brendan is an ER doctor that's transitioning to focus specifically on inflammation. And unlike me who just plays one on the internet, he's the real deal. We talk about the immune system, inflammation, and whether he'd rather be stabbed or shot. Some key highlights:

  • Chronic inflammation is an underlying issue behind many chronic illnesses that often goes undiagnosed.
  • Innate immune system dysfunction can lead to exaggerated immune responses and chronic inflammation.
  • New diagnostic tests like genie testing allow doctors to see which genes are activated and causing inflammation.
  • Treatments like cholesterol medications, MSH, and plasma-aging precursors show promise for reducing inflammation and reversing symptoms.
  • Doctors need more education on diagnosing and treating innate immune dysfunction and chronic inflammation.

This was great. I learned a ton and really enjoyed the chance to learn from someone on the front lines. If you're interested in working with Brandon or learning more about his new operation, you can find out more here.

As always, thanks for listening. Subscribe and tell me how great I am... Please. And Thanks.
