It's been a little bit and we shouldn't have left you without some dope episodes to step to so The World's Greatest Podcast is back at it with a full clip to dump out the roof! After all, we do have a spectacular sophomore season to conclude and we plan on doing that with great panache. What better way to start than to open up the BPFC Time Capsule and see what's inside!
"What the everlasting fuck is a BPFC Time Capsule," you ask? Excellent question! Here's what happened: while we stuck to our regular recording schedule, our production team had some life happenings that required more time adulting than editing. Now that our production team are back in the studio, we have four full episodes and a Set Piece for your listening pleasure and we'll be releasing each one successfully over the coming days! Pretty cool, right? You get caught up with us, we get to entertain you for hours on end... a win-win situation, really.
With that said, let's get the first round in. This episode (recorded 13 May 2021) features El Capitan Neal, Adam, Jonathan, and Joseph piling into The Pub to chat about the Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, and La Liga campaigns all drawing to a close. The boys discuss how they each see things concluding in terms of league positions and who qualifies for continental competition etcetera in an engrossing edition of Around The Pitch. The Main Segment features Neal, Adam, and Joseph discussing a couple of Major League Soccer-based shenanigans, namely: FC Cincinnati's signing of MAGA meathead Geoff Cameron and the Wilf Family's purchase of Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride, Orlando City Academy, and the Exploria Stadium. The lads also touch on the record TV deal brokered between ESPN and La Liga, each giving their take on what the deal means for fans based in the United States. The episode concludes with Extra Time where Adam, Joseph, and Neal all take thirty seconds or so to get some things off their respective chests.
