To kick off Season Four of The Battle of Gettysburg Podcast, Eric and Jim return to a familiar topic and continue their deep dive into James Longstreet and the Gettysburg Campaign. This episode will focus on Longstreet's role in the Confederate attack plan of July 2 and more importantly on the famous, or infamous, countermarch later that afternoon. The hosts will dissect this complex and often misunderstood aspect of the battle and its impact on the fighting of the second day at Gettysburg.
