In the heart of Johannesburg, where the bricks of Constitution Hill still whisper the struggles and triumphs of South Africa’s turbulent past, a new kind of movement was born. One that doesn’t march in protest, but dances, paints, raps, speaks, and reimagines. It’s called Basha Uhuru - a festival not just of art and music, but of memory, imagination, and the unapologetic assertion of freedom. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi is in conversation with Constitution Hill's public programmes director, Reuben Pasha and Basha Uhuru Event Operations Manager,Bandile Fakude.
