Brokenness leads to healing. I am part of the 2nd generation of the Way International. A Christian cult that I grew up in, or at least the remnants of. I left everything behind and found a messy, dangerous world filled with beautiful new friends and my own reckoning with the pains of the past. This was a year of my life that took me two and a half years to document and process. Through the help of celebrate recovery and pure desires ministry I’ve finally seen my own brokenness and how much my journey has only just begun.
